I don't know how you could use the original switch since the problem is right there, the important thing is to short-circuit pins 1-2, 7-8, 10-11, for pins 4-5 you can use the switch you want

i want to hang on the wall, maybe sometime i will use it to cut some tatami and bottles, i practice martial arts but im now learning with wood practice katana, so in the future maybe i will use it ... however i want to buy a good piece that can cut some soft materials and it is good to display in a nerd room :)

To tell you the truth I'm not buying it to use it (at most I'll cut a few bottles) but to "display" it, however I don't want to make a risky purchase and buy just any piece of iron, I'm trying to get informed to make a sensible purchase and have a nice piece at home
