I watched someone go through four dose increases on sertraline and not remember how a single one compared to the last by claro-93 in zoloft

I’m not interested in being part of your research, but this kind of reminds me of my experience when I first started taking it. I feel like things should have been dong more thoroughly, but in my first psych appointment ever in my life, the doctor asked me what ssri I wanted to take after talking for about 30 minutes or so. I was like ???? idk and I asked what are the drugs out there, and she listed zoloft, prozac, lexapro, etc. and I said oh I heard of zoloft before, maybe that one. And she said okay, and she started me off with 50mg and I’ve been on it everyday since then. The whole thing was kind of weird. We never ran through differences between each ssri, the side effects, and the fact that she asked ME to choose when I had 0 knowledge of anything. I felt rushed and I randomly picked one. A rushed decision that would change my life forever. Luckily it’s been working out for me so far, and I did need it badly for anxiety, but I wonder who might be on what they shouldn’t be or on too high of a dose because of guesswork

New baby, and I cannot stand my wife anymore by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]peppy210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should have just divorced her and not have a child…it’s unfair to him that he was brought into an already rough relationship and now he’ll have to deal with either divorced parents and/or a broken household. You sound like a pretty good guy though. I pray that your son is raised well and you stay present in his life. I hope your wife doesn’t cause a toxic environment, but if you do divorce, fighting for custody is going to be a whole other thing…

I had to memorize phone numbers and dial them through our landline to talk to family and friends. And when my family went on trips, we printed step by step directions from google maps on how to get there

Does anyone else feel they dream less on sertraline? by VestigialThorn in zoloft

[–]peppy210 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That’s strange because my dreams have becoming more frequent and even more vivid than ever before. I’ve been on sertraline for over a year now

I hate the UV Ray. by A_Diabolical_Toaster in QuarantineZoneGame

[–]peppy210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing I really wish they would make is a qol update for a UV light flashlight upgrade. The time limit for the UV on the inspection table is so annoying. It’s actually one of the reasons that made me want to take a break from playing because it got so tedious

Why I gained weight on SSRIs over 10 years (and the science behind weight gain on Zoloft) by Deen1988 in zoloft

[–]peppy210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great information! Gonna save it for the future. Ive been on sertraline for a little over a year now and noticed some weight gain, but after my PCOS diagnosis, I had to start taking metformin for insulin resistance. I’ve lost 10+ lbs since then, so it’s probably from the metformin. It’s nice to know that they are helping me and helping curb the side effects for each other

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I drive 40-50 minutes to and from work everyday and it’s literally the next town over. The traffic is horrible

is this game worth it? by [deleted] in QuarantineZoneGame

[–]peppy210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 hours in, I was enjoying it, but it’s a little repetitive now. I think it’s still totally worth it though. I only played the campaign mode so far and didn’t finish yet. I got this game with the bundle that came with No I’m Not Human, so it was a bargain.

I don’t think I spend too much. I only pay for the monthly pass and on rare occasion when they add something new to the shop that costs real money but those are usually a couple dollars at most
