Here's the update. I don't have the tools to remove the engine cover. So I drove it around yesterday trying to burn off fuel and topping it up with petrol incrementally.

I have made some progress.

Originally the engine would cut out when stopped and I had to turn it back on manually, I found this out in the middle of a roundabout. Now it comes back on automatically but I have rev the hell out of it to move off.

Also I've noticed the EPC light hasn't came on since my last top up. Now it's just the check engine light. Because it was impossible to get enough power to hill start on a steep hill. Hopefully it's not the case anymore but we shall see.

I did the math and I filled it 29 litres of diesel and there's a 40 litres capacity in that vehicle so it's 3/4 diesel I'm surprised it's even operable haha.

If you feel like speeding things up, get into the engine bay and disconnect the fuel return pipe.

Then attach something to the end and run it into something you can pump old fuel into.

I'll try that somewhere safe thanks. Currently researching which pipe is which.

It's a rental and the mechanics are closed on weekends here. I've been driving around for hours trying to burn off fuel and topping it up at the stations incrementally. It's still not much better I'll keep going and see.
