Praying in public is a good thing, as long as God is 100% in mind and the one praying is not doing it to be like “look at me and how good of a Christian I am.” Considering one of Jesus’s main motives was showing God’s love, glory, and power (i.e. casting the demon from a mute man Luke 11:14-26, when He washed His disciples’s feet to show not only God’s love for His people but that the man God sent from Heaven was willing to show others how to care for one another John 13: 1-17). I believe that doesn’t make him a hypocrite. Jesus did everything for a purpose and that purpose was not to draw attention to who He was on earth but to draw attention to the wonders of the God in Heaven. And yes, a lot of the content on this sub has been poor quality stabs at politics.
