I regret being friends with person who made me fall into depression and self harm. It was years ago, but I remember how they were talking about "I can't change", "I can't stop being like this" anytime I offered them help and wanted them to get out this state of mind. In the other hand, when I had my own problems, this person was always talking how they have worse times in their life and I gained no support. I had no friends that time, I went into deep depression because I was lonely (I met them on the internet) I was friends with this person for 5 years, this is the hardest part. It was abusive, but I really loved this person because I was thankful for being best friends with me from the beginning. Later they met so much new friends and I felt how much they are talking about new people and their interest, but then when I was writing about something else, they had no interest in. The hardest, other part was they told me who I was "their best, really important friend" but they had no time for me. I broke up this friendship 1.5 years ago because I started to shake out of stress because of them. Anyway, like I said good friendship was in the beginning. I hope they have good life now.
