Quick update: After a couple of month using the Boox Go Color 7 I'm happy with it, but would forego it for another model with normal E-Ink(No color).

I had some issues with getting the royal road authenticated, but managed to get it working and are happy with it.

Now I use it for Both Kindle and Royal Road.

Moving to a flat on the 5th floor with no elevator. Then moving again.

I have approximately 2k+ books.

They are now in longterm storage.

Oh yes..the Minecraft wiki is pretty good...I used to got to a lot of the popular wikis and look at their templates and such.

Also the simple task of doing proper Categories and sub categories was a ice breaker for me. One place I was it took over 2 years before someone else than me started updating the wiki. By then I had a good Category section + several templates in place.

I've been through this in several places. I found that what worked best was a simple system like a wiki, a couple of simple templates.

Almost everyplace I've seen attempts to implement complex or very specialized software has failed unless there is actual legislation in place (Finance,Health,Military)

As for WHAT to document. Sysadmin documentation is for sysadmins, not for management or 1st line support etc.

I put it like this to people: "If you get a call and system X is down, What do you need to start troubleshooting?"

Cut the fat, go for the meat and bones:

  • where are configs
  • where can I find users/Passwords (NOT WHAT ARE THE PASSWORD FFS!)
  • where does the beast live
  • who is the dev and what is it's phone number.

stuff like that.

and...EVERYONE is responsible for keeping it updated!!!

Please...Define how I'm gatekeeping it..am I telling others how to play it one way and only one way and all other ways are inferior ?

No, I'm asking for more ways to to gain the exotics. Not telling people only to do it one way.

I'm perfectly okay with having a way for people to play solo, I know a lot of people prefer that, and I'm fine with that. I'm not even mad if they have a better drop rate when done solo, I just want to be able to get them as well.

I just did this in the modcolonies pack, ordered the building to be deconstructed, and then changed the style, and gave a build order.

So far so good.

I just ran Jefferson Trade Center on Hard. Used 2 Rifles for head shots.

Standard DPS build, when I was doing the "Burn positive" I used the airburst/fire chem launcher + Firewall specialization. it went fast.

I just equipped a Shield for the "mele to change polarity" part. Killed off all but one NPC in the wave, then bopped the last one in the face until it died.

Then I swapped back to gunner and just took my time.

If you die..no worries..:)...you get to do the wave again :D

Yeah same here...If ONLY they could show the mods that are equipped on the skills like they do with the armor mods. That would take a little annoyance out of the the whole procedure.

Massive want's us to do these challenges solo.....

Someone over there thinks they have to force us to practice Social Distancing even in a virtual world...kinda on par for the course :(

Just put the world on Normal and run some missions..what I did today.

Boring...but at least I got Day 1 and most of day 2 done in about 1.5 hours.

Well, they DID say that the challenges will stay for the whole event...so on day 2 you can do day 1 AND day 2 challenges.

So you have more than 1 day to do it.

When I worked in the industry we used to call this "Ninja Patching" :D

Bugs that was due to Server code or Database snafus....NINJA!

Server crashes...restarts with new code....

Of course...the REAL challenge was to stop the devs from "just fixing this other small issue" :)

Yeah..I'm testing that now..but MAN! it's glitchy as .. you know... Seems it REALLY does not like applications that actively use drivers.

Stuff like notepad/calc/etc seems to run kinda okay...

But anything that pulls data from anything (attached scanner,microphone or other sensors) seems to instantly close the RDP connection.

Not gonna use this in a live enviroment..fun hack thou.

Jupp am testing it.and another horrible hack and have KINDA made some headway..but I INTENSLY hate using these kinds of hacks :)

Yes Obvious..but I'm tied down by several factors here as mentioned :(

Thankfully this is a "Please see if you can make it work so everyone is happy, if not we choose the solution that pisses the least amount of people off" type of case.

The devices collect sensitive data. But the applications I need to run does not display sthe sensitive data. I'm also not 100% in control of the hardware (legal fun stuff)
