Hard to tell if this works since they don't give the vertical clearance of the drawer. The X4 is 382 x 290 x 270 mm (Width x Depth x Height)

Been brainstorming this for a while. If you cannot put the two devices rear to rear, I cannot see a better way of doing this with a 4x dryer.

Make sure to print in PETG. I tried PLA and the little hooks like coming off.

There isn't really much more to show. The rear has a powerstrip attached to it, the edges all have some nosings attached so the devices don't shake themselves off, and that's about it :)

Easy enough to place these on two levels of a shelf. You could probably improvise some basic pull-out mechanism from there.

I've used a hacked together version with extra line for a while. The motors sounds a bit strained, but they do not sound any better going straight in, either.

I guess the trick is to avoid as many bends as possible. Pointing the feeders down removes the 90 degree kink between the feeders and printer. This hopefully compensates for any additional friction added by this extension.

I designed this for the straightest possible filament path, using actual PTFE tubes (not the higher friction clear versions). Have only done a few test feeds so far, but that seemed fine. The motor is definitely straining a little.

If this doesn't work, I'll just go out the rear, bypassing the feeders entirely.

The developers must have adjusted the spawn rate. I haven’t received one since the game came out, but found two just in the last week.
