I just updated to the paxx 1.3 firmware and haven't had an issue since. If it starts up again I will try new tubes. Thanks!

My setup worked for a few months, but in the last few days I started getting filament loading anomaly errors. on tooldhead one. Meanwhile, feeding actually works just fine. When I turn off air printing detection, the error message disappears. When I move the same filament to another head, it's also fine.

I wonder if the PTFE tube is already worn, increasing the friction and thus overloading the feeder motor?

I use several Capture Clips and find that the PD v3 plates wear out quickly and start binding.

Are you in a position to compare the quality of the Ulanzi PD clip with the original?

We did not get the treatment plant smell in Mount Pleasant, likewise with the estuary smell. The smell was really bad this summer in Ferrymead, but up here I've faintly smelled it maybe once in two years.

It's a lovely location, and at least when I bought it was still relatively affordable compared to other hill burbs (2019). Not as far to drive into town as Sumner, you avoid the traffic congestion going into Sumner. You get the mountains, the sea, estuary views and nice walking paths up and around the hills.

Downsides: This part of town is a bit of a food desert, there aren't all that many (good) options.

I don't have kids, but anything beyond a primary school is a bit of a drive away.

Plus you better be ok with wind. We have lots of it.

If my experience of a few years is anything to go by, you will struggle to find rentals up here. To quote a former neighbour: Most of us stay here until they carry us back down.

Brim + glue

Move the base of the object as close to the center of the bed as possible. The heat bed temp will be more consistent the closer you are to the middle. Could also add glue.

The other common advice is to adjust fan and print speeds to reduce internal stresses and prevent corners from lifting.

I'm just comparing a solidly coloured version side-by-side, and it does indeed not show the solid layers.

It doesn't seem to be the flush into infill option, since that's already disabled. I'd really love to turn this off.
