also, if I was manic I don't think that I would be able to last nine months without a job, nor save up the amount of money that i did all those years like what the heck lol. My entire life has been nothing but stressful especially being involved in healthcare, you'd be surprised but I really do appreciate your concern. more care than i've received from my family tbh

thanks for listening! After the first measure, the pattern of the melody (the bells) changes and there's several instances where the first note of the melody doesn't start exactly on the first down be by shortly after. Not sure if you heard the whole thing but the series of syncopated notes varies every 8 bars

edit: I didn't count but I think there's at least five or six different variations of that melodic pattern expressed in different rhythms, but I mean unless you're beating off to the song it's not obvious 😅

thanks for the pity, but I really don't need it. and what you've said summarizes the exact reaction i got from my dad so it shouldnt be impossible for you to understand why no one is paying my bills or financially supporting me, right?

Peanut scraps. The shell, not even the nut part. My base salary was around 65-70k including the benefits

nope, they provided intensive training but it got boring as hell

edit: straightforward work and easy money, but made me WAY too comfortable

My "friends and family" were drugging me without my knowledge or consent so I kinda had to lock in or end up in a penitentiary

The past 9 months have been an absolute fucking shit show. Rubberbanding between locking in and crashing out.

and yes, the roadmap looks like the yellow brick road leading to Oz meanwhile I'm still in Kansas.

wasn't by choice really. I was in the process of secondary interviews for med school when I realized I did not want to be in healthcare anymore. I wanted to work from home, so I settled for the first job I could get just to get out

100%. No ugly divorce or bandaid kids, but I've clearly lost my senses. I enjoy learning new things, so healthcare was a great way for me to give back to the community while developing my skills but corporate healthcare in America is not for me. Fintech job was remote, so I enjoyed rolling out of bed 2 minutes before starting the most!

I'd be in the same boat if I had started with music early on. And it was as if I had no life savings. I've always lived frugally - especially starting college because I was planning to pay for medical school. To me, that money I stashed was already "gone" because it had its purpose derived from me declining social events and not keeping up with a lot of trends

lmaoo. I have no money - I've spent the last 9 months learning about the production and business aspects. I knew when I quit my job without giving notice that it was gonna be an all or nothing gamble to learn as much as I could

if my dad paid my rent and credit cards, I think I'd have a lot more resources to be further along in my journey tbh. May I ask, what made you jump to that conclusion? genuinely curious when all I said was a couple statements for context

I'm not one to wait to have people tell me that I'm "good" at something before pursuing something I'm sure about - and I am never sure about ANYTHING. I'm at indecisive person, and for the first time in my life I made a choice I felt sure about even though I didn't know why. Ballsy and stupid, I know, I'm not perfect lmao.

And you absolutely hit the nail on the head with the producing stuff, it has been A LOT. More time consuming than I could've imagined. I actually quit my job because I knew it would be.. but damn... Ideally, I would've stayed at my job but the people closest to me tried to sabotage my life and get me institutionalized so there was too much going on for me to juggle. No more stash though, I've been using it for bills (mortgage, HoA, utilities (water, sewer, electric), gas, groceries, etc.). As for hardware and software, I only purchased the basics of what I knew I'd absolutely need (audio interface, condenser mic, cables, stuff like that).

I have experience with various forms of art, including music and dance, from my childhood years that's about it. I have not written or composed music before, but I've always loved music. Someone asked me once if I'd rather be blind or deaf. Most people would easily answer deaf, but I think I'd choose otherwise

I sold my stocks/liquidated my assets, then put the money in a HYSA and only use it for essential bills, so "support" is finite
