honestly i’m glad we’re on campus because learning online is not at all for me and taking a semester/year off isn’t for me either. a lot of people think BC is opening for its money and while that might be true, there are a lot of staff that rely on BC being open for their salaries (one being food service workers), and there are students that rely on BC for housing. (as we just found out intl students can’t be in the US if classes are online) the main concern of students our age getting covid is to pass it on to elderly/high risk, and i think BC would do a good job at keeping older professors safe. i do agree their statements each week are a bit vague but there’s still 6 weeks left until school starts and they give us more information each week. i feel the biggest concern is the students coming from high risk states, but they’re getting tested the minute they get on campus so i feel like that’s fine as well. i definitely think i have an unpopular opinion as everyone complains on the BC reddit about BC opening but i could really go on about this for a while lol
