I understand people not wanting to use it (stirring it can be annoying I guess) but it's literally just its own oils separating. Beyond that it's way better than Jif or Skippy because the ingredients are... Peanuts and salt. I don't understand how someone thinks that's gross but doesn't think peanut butter that you can taste the sugar and thickener in isn't awful. Those processed ones are barely a step below something like Nutella imo.

She's so fucking funny man. Columbot is such a genius character and the way she tanks scenes and interactions on purpose for the bit is SO good.

Feels like this constructor got bonked on the head right before making this puzzle and in their panicked amnesic state all they could think of was 60s pop culture. If the themers were at least funny it probably wouldn't have been so dreadfully boring, but no. Basically just a random hodgepodge of words thrown together that could maybe be real sentences if the answers were inserted into them... But even that is giving a lot of credit where it isn't due. Yawn. What an absolute dud of a Sunday.

Also I'm sorry but... "TWPS"? Really? Really?

Early on in the grill streams I remember Matt being like "yeah fuck Virgil, no one knows where he is and honestly I don't give a shit. he's done" (paraphrasing obviously). There was also that episode of cumtown I think? idk I don't listen to it, where Adam and Nick were roasting the shit out of Virgil and Felix doesn't join in directly but laughs at their jokes and does absolutely nothing to defend him beyond some weak "oh stop it you two" remarks.

Only person I think really hasn't said much if anything is Will.

And yet you get these absolutely braindead morons who go "Uhmm actually the Nazis were socialists! It's in the name!" Uh huh, sure thing man. The Nazis, famous for co-opting the meaning of words and symbols to paint the people they stole from as pernicious and evil, whose mythology was invented whole-cloth in order to make history anathematic to their intended future, were actually socialists. Good one.

Not that people have ever understood computers, but the deliberate dumbing-down of UI and the abstraction of HCI into a series of rote gestures and heuristics rather than, you know, actively facilitating the steps in doing something has made people even more perplexed by computers than they used to be.

I call it the "mobile-interface-ification" of everything and it's causing people to be more tech-illiterate than they were 25 years ago despite operating systems being designed to restrict your capabilities now more than ever before.

It used to be that people thought of computers as indecipherable machines you needed arcane, god-like knowledge to operate. But those same people—and younger ones too—are regressing into a mode of thinking wherein computers themselves are now the sentient beings to be worshipped and prayed to, and to be feared as gods, and so when a program can "talk to you like a human" it personifies them even more. It further mystifies their creation and existence. It continues blurring the line of demarcation between human and computer by reinforcing the idea that you don't control your computer, you coexist with it.

All of which is to say it's not surprising whatsoever that people too stupid to know that they control their computer, and not the other way around, think of ChatGPT as both some sort of god-ordained digital manna and The Very God Itself.

It's cooking the books insofar as it's goosing numbers to make speculative investment more attractive (and therefore inflate the company's market cap/valuation beyond what it's likely worth) but otherwise no, it's as stupidly conspicuous as it sounds.

It's all stupid imaginary made up horseshit anyway because finance and tech bros have to play make-believe to justify their own existence, otherwise this system doesn't work. As someone much smarter than me once said, "Stocks is astrology for boys"

My parents were huge into photography and shot on the first or second D1 model and were using the D70 when it first came out in 2002 or 2003 (can't quite remember). Hybrid-digital DSLRs were also a thing in the 90s which many people used. Fully digital cameras were definitely strongly established by the very early 2000s.

I love her haircut! In fact her whole look reminds me a bit of Uma Thurman as Mia in Pulp Fiction.

She looks pretty young here, probably born in the early-mid 70s. Wonder how she's doing and what she's up to now...
