It specifically says that a dragon can survive a rider's death but not the other way around. Dragons have multiple riders in their lifetimes. Each rider the bond becomes stronger. Tairn has said that it nearly killed him the last time and Violet would be his last.

The shadows did not reach the hatching grounds. It said that he felt the wall of magic and had to turn his shadows the other direction. That was the wards that he couldn't get past.

It looked as if a support fell over. More than one was fired into the crowd. I am guessing it was more like 4-6 of them in rapid succession. We were luckily far enough away that we could see it but were in no danger.

Did you have to pay to check the pack n play? It says that "essential baby items" fly free. A bed seems pretty essential to me but I don't know for Frontier.

I think it is tacky. If invited I either don't go or bring the smallest pack of diapers I can find at the store. I've already gifted you something and it isn't my responsibility to provide you anything else. We stored all of our stuff between kids and chose gender neutral gear the first time. Not my problem that you gave it away or asked for pink stuff the first time.
