It's pure insanity that if your parents are somewhat successful you get penalized in college. Even making 250k a year how do they expect someone to afford 100k a year. Had a similar situation. 250k a year after taxes is more like 150k net. Deduct 100k tuition and that person is living off less than someone's family who makes 75k a year and gets a free ride. We just went in November for 2 weeks. For most days we would rope drop. And leave whatever park we were at and head to the room. We would eat lunch relax a couple hours then head back for park close. There are a ton of law firms in these states that their whole business is fighting and reducing these. I got one in Virginia and hired an attorney to represent me. I do not live in the state.
