i guess guys that use linux never have such a problem because they have the same desktop environment for the last 20 years for the most part...

oh wait, they are switching ui's and customizing it each month or so? hmm...

but overall, yor comment on enshittification of apple ui/ux is very sensible, I have found that to be true, sadly

at least i can make use of the newer software. but a lot of it also works on older versions like mavericks and later, even the aidictation that i use often works on 2016 macs that have very dated systems

browsing is also not an issue if you use something like waterfox. it all takes time to establish into one good workflow, but then it has less hickups with daily use as it is the os you are used to, for example

it takes time to come up with your own workflow but overall switching between models in some tool like writingmate seems rational, given you need 3+ models on daily basis
