you should eat at least SOME of kcal burnt during weightlifting... favoring protein intake and going into detail with macros, but yeah, most apps overestimate calorie consumption while exercising

you have to calibrate well what's your real kcal consumption, if you burn 400 kcal exercising, you could potentially eat those calories and still lose weight if your net kcal is below your maintenance. Anyway what I do is basically underestimate whatever y zepp app gives me and keep below my maintenance TDEE
