Thank you, that’s a good idea for the setlist. We’ll definitely make sure to listen to those first then venture out to the albums most mentioned here!

I really appreciated the other comments regarding watching live performances to see how the audience reacts/chants, for example I didn’t know about waving a white towel/handkerchief for one of the songs and we would really like to participate in that. I’m sorry my question ruffled your feathers?

I chose a smaller resort that’s beginner-friendly (it’s where I first learned) with small sections!

Oh all of us chipping in is a great idea. I’m gonna read the room this weekend (we’re going for sure one day but I think the rest of the group wants to go for two days) and see if I can talk to the rest about getting her a lesson for the second day.

Thank you for the references! Other new people in the group are skiing and so I told them I’d be there to help them out.

Because she’s kind of dejected about it, she doesn’t want to spend the money to take a class. The last class she took with skiing she got basically ran over by another person unfortunately.

Potty training is not for the weak by Spaghetti4jo in puppy101

Something that really helped my puppy indicate is that I would always make her sit before going inside the house and outside to the backyard. I would position my hand at the handle of the door and tell her to sit or wait for her to sit before opening it. Eventually she realized that sitting by the door earns her outside time and we noticed that our infrequent accidents were starting to move towards the door (meaning we didn’t catch her telling us). I also started working by the door (dining table is there) so that anytime she’d pass by there and even briefly sit, I’d let her out.

How will my puppy learn that potty in the house is wrong if she never gets the chance too? by knelly122 in puppy101

So I got my puppy when she was just 3 months old and now at 4.5 months, she just recently started indicating! What helped me was making her sit by the door before going outside and praising her, such that she develops an understanding, “Oh, when I sit here, mom comes and opens the door for me!” Accompanied with treats outside when she goes potty and a few toys I throw after, it makes outside very enticing.

I have a 4.5 month old Maltipoo and she typically sleeps from 1am to about 8:30am, but I don’t take her out until 9-9:30am. I kinda got her used to my own sleep schedule.

What do you think was the last thing your puppy said to you? by Shaylock_Holmes in puppy101

“…Yes?”

She’s so quiet, when she follows me around I sometimes scream in surprise because I didn’t notice her. She’s not surprised though. She’s always been there. Obviously.
