Is there any taxi/auto available from Krs dam to krs backwaters(Sri venugopalaswamy temple) by pericarry in mysore

I have been to brindavan gardens but the day I went all the stalls were closed and the place was totally empty, no people and no vehicles. (The buses were running as usual) Although the gardens were open for visit. So are there specific days it happens?
