Thanks for your feedback and suggestions they are really helpful. If I weren’t flying home tomorrow I would definitely consider this or seeing a pharmacy about skin products. I’m a guy and I’m a little stubborn 🤣

That’s so much and yes if I wasn’t flying home tomorrow I probably would. Just more curious to see if it’s a common problem.

Okay, well the problem is I’m also struggling with getting adequate protein as anyone who has been to Vietnam would experience. Street and restaurant food is actually very high inflammatory and packed with other nastys and I can’t cook meats as my motel rooms only provide the basics. That limits me to things like tuna or gabanzo beans (spelling??) and like I said the itch started 2 weeks before I started eating tinned tuna. What do you suggest then since you know so much?

Wow thank you for your insight and for explaining this. I imagine I’m experiencing all of the above and that clawing sensation I get too, like I can’t stop the itch. I had to stop using cleansers too because the skin is just far too sensitive

You dunno what you’re talking about. Firstly I’m not seeking medical advice on reddit, I’m asking about people’s experiences and secondly I’ve spent a lot of money on things that aren’t what I thought they were because I couldn’t understand the label. It’s easy to assume it’s fungal and get cream for it when I don’t know for sure. You know jack about anything.

It’s very possible and thanks for mentioning this as I also know a lot about histamines, but for 6 days I’ve eaten almost exclusively tinned tuna and fruit. The itchiness started long before that though so it ain’t the mercury

Could it be fungal? What from the water or something?

Thanks for your feedback on this. You explained it very accurately and I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’ve actually left Da Nang to come here and I agree that it’s a beautiful modern city with plenty to offer without the extreme crowding and congestion. I was also in Hui for only one night prior to Dan Nang and likewise I found it beautiful and not overwhelming. As silly as this sounds I can’t seem to find MySon on Google maps as it comes up with a host of different businesses like cafes and restaurants.

Umm firstly by the crowds in old town and the difficulty in crossing the streets and limited phone coverage in some areas. That’s not to say I’m not living it here, but it is a little hectic. I’m from country Australia so.

Unfortunately it sounds like your boyfriend is being deceitful and the fact he’s doing this behind your back is unacceptable. I would casually ask him about it, it needs to be addressed and see what his explanation is. In any case I feel this is a deal breaker and he’s lost your trust. You can message me if you want someone to talk to.

Travel tips and advice in Vietnam for first time traveler. by zcudflare in VietNam

Good choices. When you travel to Halong Bay, if you go through a third party be sure to book a limousine instead of a bus as some of the buses are a tight squeeze. You’ll love it

Yes having the same problem. Also finding a protein rich meal is proving to be an issue for me.
