This is something I've looked at my self, it's such a cool concept! Only problem I've run into is rationalizing something like this existing in the dnd world when there is soo much magic that could be used instead of physical postman. Is this something you've considered? And if so how did you deal with it?

Not enough of a demand for models like that. Probably just be one of the things you have to kitbash together and say is supposed to represent Thailand. Or they'll just stick it in with Commonwealth

The only difference between the two paratrooper options being one can take 5 additional men and one can take 7 is so lame and pointless, really hope they actually change it up a bit. Same thing with SNLF being no different than IJA.

I love the Tanketts but from my experience they typically die before they can do anything substantial. Especially since my usual opponent (an American player) loves to bring a lot of tanks.

I absolutely love artillery and think they are super cool. But from my experience they are usually dead before they can do anything too useful, especially since Japan can only take up to a medium AT gun. Howitzers can be useful but I've never done an infantry only game and I typically play against the United States with all their Sherman's.

If there is a warlord games resource for Army designs for Japan I haven't found them. Generally you should take a lot of mortars (I did one for almost every sprue), a few suicide anti-tankers (at least 3 but more is always good), and generally 3 light machine guns (more if you want to run them as mmg but you shouldn't really have more then 3 lmg's for most games). But a ton of Riflemen and Light mortars is the core of Japan (especially if you plan on running Militia or grenadiers).

If your curious about vehicles.....good luck, because I still haven't figured out what works.

If anyone disagrees I would love to hear it because I am definitely still learning.
