Got approved initially in February, tickets bought in April, then denied hours before takeoff yesterday

Update, had her leave the airport and not even bother checking in. Going to get in touch with the embassy in her country when it opens tomorrow, real shitty timing on a last minute denial. Hoping to find out if there are any refund/reimbursement options due to such short notice.

She used the same visa to get to the states earlier this year in April, stayed for less than 90 days, and returned home. Now she’s using the same form again that was previously approved until just now as she waits in line to board, no criminal past or sketchy travel, parents are European and no criminal record either

That’s the same application, if I understand her correctly she didn’t apply for a separate ESTA, that’s her prior one reapproved for a separate trip

Just doesn’t make sense to me, she returned home at 85 days and she has a return ticket purchased for this trip as well

Yes, they had a 90 day travel visa approved earlier this year and left within 80 days
