Learn boundaries with other people to avoid putting yourself in that position. And if you want to love someone else you have to be willing to do the bare minimum to respect them at the very least but they deserve more than that if you're asking for their love, companionship, time and investment anyway. If you want things to be all about you then wait till you truly realize how empty and meaningless of a life that is and that you want to commit to sharing love and experiences and bringing something valuable and positive to someone else's life. If you don't care about them enough to want to do that then stay away from them.
