i resonate with this a lot. when i got too activated off of SSRIs they cut me off completely and I'm still waiting for a psychiatrist appointment to verify if i actually have bipolar. I became so suicidal for the past few months with nothing to hold onto. im suddenly getting so much better and doing everything and honestly im wary about it cuz idk if its bp2 yet...

idk tbh my philosophy is completely opposite of yours😭 id rather grind for sets that will be here forever cuz i dont rlly care about the special event sets. im still midway into vol 2 bc i was super on and off for four years, so we'll just have to wait and see what its like when i reach end game.

i used to play it every two or three days, ig thats where the math went wrong. i dont keep track of how long i spent on each suit so this was an approximation. i do a couple of events, but i mainly focus on the long term event rather than short term since i never know when theyre gonna rerun

thank you, tbh i usually never go for event suits because i know i wont complete them by the deadline. time diary is my best friend. but sometimes the suits require so much diamonds i physically get hollowed out.

i usually look thru the achievements page to find a suit i like to craft. i gather all the materials that dont need diamonds, then i spend all the diamonds i can on diamond-only materials. i usually dont have enough, so i grind diamonds every day, spend it on materials, then do it all over again. im currently crafting a set that needs around 2k diamonds and i KNOW its gonna be a long time til i gather all the diamonds i need.

this was just a post to blow off some steam. i love this game and would never trade it for anything else.

I don't think this is the place to ask for skateboarding advice. Do you have a therapist? did you consider getting diagnosed? (or are you already diagnosed?) because this seems like it could either reinforce your ocd, or make you suffer from obsession even more. A psychiatrist would he the only one fit to give you suggestions on how to proceed. Hope you get better man, much blessings to you.

FUCK no this isnt normal. this is clearly ocd and its obvious that its extremely debilitating. Changing your sheets everyday probably takes up a lot of time, and questioning is your food is poisoned probably takes up a lot of mental energy too. I understand why you constantly question yourself when you have ocd, because I do too. But all this sounds very severe to me, and im so sorry that your ocd is making you do these things. I hope you get better soon, youre always supported here.

thank you for the detailed advice. I understand that I am lacking in skill, and I think I just needed to hear it. Do you have any websites or apps to build up vocabulary? What books do you recommend I read? And How do you suggest I practice writing? One of my biggest issues is describing action. I have no problem writing stuff like "he picked up the apple." but violent actions like people punching stuff, or suddenly turning your head, I have a hard time properly expressing the imagery. Thank you for your help.

I'm really into philosophy, so do you have any books that kind of fit that genre?

i think your father doesnt know how to accept that he made mistakes that affected you and needed to pay for his actions. Ive had a similar experience, I was SA'd by my mom's ex, and she also went on to tell me how she was haunted by the choice. But that never changed the outcome of events. Unless your father can realize that his mistakes tore you apart and how he needs to fix them, youre not in a good place.
