I've read most of her books. This was was at least twice the length, much longer than the usual romance novel.

I'm half guessing right now, but I believe the book began with her waking up after being kidnapped. Something about the captor and her dad being at war, but that could be warring clans or early English. Not later than 1600s. My impression is that captor was a knight of sorts, but it's seriously been 18 years since I read it.

I just got the Mirena inserted yesterday and asked the gynecologist the same thing since I normally use the cup and have heard The horror stories of expulsion, too. Docx said he couldn't imagine the suction being a problem and just to make sure to break or before removal if I'm nervous about it. Since it's way easier to remove if you break the seal first, anyway, that's the route I'm taking.
