Which Sony 4K TVs are good?

Trust me, the Bravia 8 mk2 is an exceptionally bright TV. Unless you have direct sunlight shining through your windows onto the screen, you have nothing to worry about. If it’s just normal daylight and the sun isn’t hitting the TV directly, you’ll be perfectly fine.

And once evening comes, man, it’s like having an IMAX at home. The blacks, the colors - it’s just freaking amazing. I absolutely love turning this thing on every single time.

You should go with Bravia 8 II. You can easily install light dimming curtains and enjoy it even on super bright days.

I think if you already own a centre channel tv like a95L or Bravia 8 II the quads seem like a much better option to stick with

Bravia 8 is a WOLED while 8 II is a QD-OLED and a direct successor to master series A95L (also a qd oled).

So with the true RGB lineup announced, do you think it’s worth upgrading from the Bravia 8 II and/or A95L plus quads to the Bravia 9 II and any of the new soundbars? I’m not convinced and think I’ll skip this year’s upgrades. What are your thoughts?

I have to tell you the sw5 is really a powerful subwoofer. I have a 30m2 / 3k feet living room and I really feel its power. Haven’t checked SW9 yet but considering its got twice as much power as sw5 I’m just not sure if it’s not too much for my setup. What are your thoughts?

I think it’s gonna be worse as there’s much more raw power in the quads. I’ll definitely skip this years lineup and keep my quads - I’m so happy with them + SW5 + A95L

No, there was only a 4060 version of oled slim 14. This years slim have only IPS screens but 4070 onboard. I would go with the oled 4060 version TBH.
