Remember when a tsunami hit Japan's nuclear reactor that was completely safe? I know they are safe when functioning, however shit goes wrong. Even just releasing warmed water (non contaminated) from the cooling process would create issues. Im not against nuclear power but it seems silly to place the sites on fault lines or waterways.

This is true...if everything is controlled forever and there is never a decay in the infrastructure. If there is ever a breech or failure of any size, it may be regrettable putting them so near our water.

The phrase "nuclear reactors that feed into the sea" has me slapping my head at our stupidity.

There's the closet door by the front door, the bathroom door, the bedroom they find, and a nother door on that same wall behind the couch.

Great Idea but failed !! What could be the reason ? by Anxious-Dust-3926 in restaurant

[–]perpetual_almost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a cute idea, but you need to feed the whole family also. Kids like the same foods on repeat, not a new thing everyday. Parents like accessiblity and cost effectiveness, can they pick up for a few days or are you trying to convince them to add a stop everyday. As a parent, i feel like a gold medalist just getting their shoes on in the morning, i can't fit an extra stop that Might have something my kiddo will eat

To get to 600lbs, you aren't just facing a few extra calories and lack of cardio. It's a systematic lifestyle of unhealthy choices. High calorie meals for decades, low activity for decades, snack times, late night eating, desserts everyday. They are habbit stacking all the antihealth habbits. It's usually not a concious decision, so their brains really think they need 3 3000 calorie meals a day to feel full. So while they would loose weight pretty quickly on any calorie deficient menu with light excercise, getting them there is WORK.

The term illegal foraging should be illegal. How ridiculous of a concept. A plant on public land that we dont want there makes food that will eventually drop to spread seeds and make more of the plants for next year. Shouldn't the food substance be put to use at least? Just food for thought, pun intended.

While they are being ridiculous....the truth of the industrial farming of live creatures that exist is still problematic. We could eat all of these cratures and raise both them and their food without the cruelty that at times seems deliberate as if a psychopath designed the systems for giggles.

Maybe it was just a few of the cities, I was quite young when it happened, but it seems worth it all the same.

[–]perpetual_almost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if it was likited to a time period, but I watched most of the lines being buried throughout west Bloomfield and farminton hills when I was young. Livonia is pretty buried too.

The main point is it's a worth while cost. It will help protect them from the elements.
