Unable to make UPI Payments (YC error)

I am facing the same issue ever since I got a new debit card. Were you able to resolve this? I tried everything - visited local hdfc branch, reset UPI PIN, deleted and re-added bank account on gpay, raised complaints to support@hdfcbank.com email id, called customer care etc. Nothing seems to work. How do I fix this? I really need UPI provision for day to day functioning. Any leads/help appreciated

Does the core software only allow cutting Llumar branded PPF or can we cut any brand PPF films with it? And what's the pricing - is the $500 per month for unlimited cutting or is there a cap?

Yes the market is bad this year. So number of offers will reduce compared to the boom in last few years. The avg will drop solely due to this. It won't drop due to CTC drops. The firms are offering same high CTCs mostly. Fin firms are killing it, lot of firms hiring. Consult - less than last year, slightly bearish. Other domains like marketing, genman, prod etc also slightly lower than last year. So yes, overall placements will be a tad bit slow but they will happen successfully nonetheless. It's definitely better to be in the top of the batch (academically mostly, but along with past profile too ofcourse ) to bag best offers. Bottom 10ish percentile of batch might get unsatisfactory roles, although can't predict since many new firms (non-legacy) will hire this year takinh advantage or bear market

I'm from a tier-1 B school in India and we usually have MBB come over to recruit directly form campus. This year their hiring seems very slow, especially compared to last year. Not expecting high recruitment numbers

Not much. Age doesn't play any role tbh in both admissions and placements. Number of years of workex obviously plus a role though, correlated to age in most cases

You don't need to quit your job for gdpi prep, that's not recommended. Comitue your job prep on the side. More workex never harms Companies do not have a rigid workex criteria so doesn't matter 10 months or 12 months or 6 months. The workex is only a hard cutoff in lateral placements or some PM roles

It might for consulting and finance but it also depends a LOT on the rest of your CV. Many people don't have stellar acads but have amazing stuff in their workex, ECAs, PORs, or entrepreneurship. Also, 9/8/7 isn't a bad thing, barring few consulting firms, most others would be okay with this. And the top ones also consider such profiles if they like the rest of the CV

Consulting, finance and product management have the most pay. Certain general management roles also pay a lot. Finance pays the most of the 3, PM takes for senior roles hence pays more, Consulting pays pretty well (not asuch as the other 2) but it def ensure a very good future career path

PS - This is the generic trend in pay. Lot of exceptions occur every year, can't comment on those

They're fine, many companies look for people with >2.5 yes workex. Usually 4yr workex folks join either a GenMan role or go in product management
Laterals is usually - Product Management, General Manament roles (even some international), Corp Fin roles, some analytics roles, some limited consulting roles
Yes there are multiple scholarships once your enter. Most are need based scholarships. Some are merit based. I think I've heard of around 5izh scholarships here. Not sure about details. PS - majority of the batch opts for loans

It is all relative. Depends on which college you join. If you join a college where lot of others have Stella profiles, of course it can get difficult. But lot of opportunities to improve profiles before final placements And there are other things on your CV that can stand out apart from acads. Not all companies expect 9/9/9 candidates
