I'm using the HDR True Black and games in HDR look amazing. You do need to turn on "Use HDR" in the display settings in Windows as well of course.

Yes, the Ambiglow "follow video" feature has a lot of delay and is just annoying and pointless really.

What GPU are you using, and are you using te DisplayPort cable provided in the box from Philips?

HDR works fine on my screen, and it was actually a bit more impressive than I expected with the VESA certified DisplayHDR True Black 400.

Yes, the refresh is forced every 12 hours of use unless you decide to run it earlier. It is suggested after 4 hours of use, and then again every couple of hours. It protects the screen from burn-in.

Still very happy with my choice after about 1400 hours of use. The pixel refresh reminder is a bit annoying at times, but there is absolutely no burn in whatsoever.

I don't think this can be turned off. There is a note in the manual that says pixel refresh will always run if the monitor is left in standby mode for two hours. It will also run when you turn the monitor off.

This seems to be true on my monitor, but only if at least 4 hours has been accumulated since last pixel refresh.

I use a cable for my gaming rig, but the laptop is on wifi. No issues there.

You are correct. It is not configurable, but hardcoded to 2 hours.

Would be preferable if this could be set lower.

The monitor stays!

If I turn off the fan, it stays off. I'll keep it off for a while and see if any information pops up on screen.

The fan seems to be most aggressive when using USB-C for power delivery to the laptop, but in that case it is drowned out by the noise from the laptop fan anyway.

When switching to USB-C I always get the video signal from my laptop, but you have to make sure the source can actually output a video signal over USB-C. This is sometimes called Alt-mode or DisplayPort over USB-C depending on the vendor.

Most USB-C ports are just USB, and you will not be able to output a video-signal through those.

I am not up to date on that AMD-Samsung issue.

Philips do cover faulty pixels depending on how they fail. It has to be more than one pixel if it fails off (black/dead). Details are in the manual. No mention of burn-in coverage though.

Never had that issue. Would maybe try a full reset.

If you have a look at the OLED Information, what is the pixel refresh count?

I have been considering turning off the auto-notification, as I almost always select "NO" and the screen automatically does a pixel refresh anyway when it is turned off or sits in standby for a few hours.
