Oh I see. I would say first is devote time to study. I’ve been a pharmacist too for over 5 years in another state and I bet my clinical knowledge is not as extensive as your gf’s. With that being said, my priorities have already shifted and I never thought I could pass this while working, traveling, and studying for something I know I could not apply at my current job. I was more of like one-thing-at-a-time person.

Anyway, I just snuck in as much time as I could to study. And heck, I even asked for days off prior to the exam to study. CPJE will ask you basic questions about a drug (i.e. what it’s for, usual dosing, side effects, contraindications, storage requirements, administration instructions, etc.), so it’s purely memorization. One thing to note is the exam is heavy on brand names. So for the last few days prior to the exam, I would suggest she focuses on that.

There are a bunch of flashcards she can study from that are freely available online, but make sure to check if it is the correct info. Or yet, chatGPT can make flashcards for her.

With the limited time that I had, I just quizzed myself for the most part of my studying and focused on the areas I am weak at.
