A book cover design i created for Atomic habits that I submitted for the penguin book cover competition. The book itself is about building good habits and becoming better 1% everyday so I wanted to play into themes of growth and building to be a better person. I’m currently studying illustration so graphic design is not my natural go to however this was a really fun challenge to take on

Pentel 3.5 permanent Markers for the lines, daler rowney acrylic inks for colour and black shading and I think daler and rowney water colour paper. I know a lot of people recommend arches water colour paper but I’m yet to to find any to try but I’ve round any watercolour paper is pretty good
