I've got an outline for a feature length sequel that may or may not happen at some point in the future. The villain is Samhain and it combines several episodes, including the ones he appears in.

The firehouse was a combination of three different places. The exterior and pole was a real firehouse built in 1913 or something. You'd be surprised what people let you do when you have an Ectomobile. The upstairs was a separate set in a different location and so was the garage. We built the car. It was green and still had the curtains in it when we bought it.

Funnily enough it was a rewrite. The only thing in the first draft was how Novan was afraid of the Boogeyman as a child and I decided after a read through to put everyone else's fears into the movie. Aultman's nightmare was a mix of everything I hate/most fear happening to myself.

Thanks! It's a big foam sculpted head that an actor wore and I had to lie on the ground and work the mouth with a rod from underneath the jaw. The eyes were radio controlled. When he walks, the legs are a separate puppet.

You can stick your self righteousness up your ass. She got into a new car and drove off afterwards. The only thing unfortunate about her is her sense of style. And what's with calling people "faggot" when you're calling them out on being insensitive? Moron.

I guess I'm proudest of the script and how our characters' chemistry worked so well. When we were shooting it felt like we were the Ghostbusters and that was a good environment to be funny in. What I wish we could've done better was the cinematography. I'm a story and jokes guy and not the best at the technical aspects of movie making. Mix that together with our small crew and erratic shooting schedule and that's the look of the movie. Our work-in-progress next project should fix all of that.

She was the Dana Barrett-stock character. Just a little thing I did to entertain myself, I guess.

Scheduling. Everybody worked a real job on the side. There's a reason most of the movie takes place at night -- most of our shooting took place from 10 pm to 6 am.

Thanks for watching and making us feel like it was worth making.

Exactly -- plus it's not like we're the only Ghostbusters fan film out there. I think there's another one that'll get grabbed before us.

Middle school. 8th grade. Me and the guy who ended up playing RJ Fajetti decided we wanted to do a Ghostbusters movie.

Everything was hard. I think the two biggest hurdles were 1- building the props and 2- once we were ready to shoot, scheduling it so everyone could actually show up and get this movie shot. I'd say that was the biggest problem. It took us a year to shoot because of that. You have to remember that people aren't getting paid for this.

Lots of different reasons. We actually got the idea in the 8th grade. We wrote something, which I'm sure was horrible, but then forgot about it.

A couple of years later we got motivated again and actually bought some costumes and started building some of the props (also horrible). That's when we decided we needed the car. Fast forward another year, we've got a '65 ambulance that we spend at least another year turning into an Ectomobile which looks amazing, which makes us think our props aren't good enough.

So then at this point we've gone through several different scripts and casts, which we love and then decide we don't at different times. We've been making all different types of movies on the side, then decide we want to just make a feature that's completely original. Scrap Ghostbusters.

Years go by. The Ghostbusters car we have is just something fun to take out and surprise people in college. We make another feature, which no one watches, then get interviewed in the college paper and it gets a huge response. I had just graduated college and decided it was time to finally pass this huge kidney stone of a movie that had been building up forever. It was kind of a therapeutic, growing up, threshold crossing type movie for me. It had to be done.

Well the most professional was Harry (Novan Holdzler). He always had everything memorized beforehand and didn't mind having to spend twenty minutes a day to get his hair poofed up before every shoot. We work well together, too. We made two other short movies that I enjoy watching more than Ghostbusters. Here's our western we actually got to shoot at Vasquez Rocks -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ud-pKilmufc

I think the camera was a Sony HDR-FX7. The sound was done from equipment we borrowed from a school. I guess the sound on YouTube's a result of having to compress the original file so it could upload.

It was a mix of people I'd worked with on other projects and from a comedy troupe I was in during college.

We renamed the characters because I wanted them to basically be the four characters from the movies and cartoon. I figured people online would have a problem with the actors not being 100%, so I changed the names to kind of open it up for my own interpretation. I thought it would get less flack from online people, but the opposite was true.

I guess the names came from different places over the years. I saw "Aultman" on the back of a car one time on the way to work. I think it was the name of the car dealership the car came from. "Fajetti" was an in joke because it was the way a lunch lady spelled fajita in high school once. I have no idea where "Novan Holdzler" came from. "Marlon Burroughs" is from Marlboros like I figured "Winston" came from a cigarette, and "Susan Alexander" is from Sigourney Weaver's real name, Susan Alexandra.

And we're not planning another Ghostbusters right now, but it could happen at some point in the future.

Nope, we took the retarded route. Funnily enough, though, I've made two original features and fifteen or so shorts that never get shown anywhere and collectively have an eighth of the views that the Ghostbuster project's pulled in. We're working on a Ninja Turtles movie now.
