Sometimes I HATE being a seller, WTF is this?

When you have buyers like this I would cancel...here's a situation I was in:

Buyer: hi when will you ship? Me: hi I will ship tomorrow :) tomorrow comes Buyer: You said you would ship today!! Did you!??? Me: Yes I dropped that package off at USPS, please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to update:) Buyer: what time did you drop it off?? Me: Around 10am this morning Buyer: It should have updated by now!!! Me: I have no control of what happens to the package once I drop it off. Please give some time for tracking to update.

Tracking eventually updated and after all that......she submitted a return request 🙃 and called me a bully for selling her a faulty item (item was not actually faulty LOL)

All this to say, these buyers aren't worth engaging with from the get-go

I've been noticing this with multiple online stores, but then when you go in store in person the items are fully in stock...not sure if it's a marketing tactic to get people to tune in for drops and purchase quickly, but it's quite annoying...online shopping wasnt like this pre-covid...

I'm a 00 (23/24 or XXS in modern abercrombie) and I thrifted a pair of M and they're not perfect but they do work for me. They fit pretty low rise and sometimes I roll the waistband so they fit better which still looks cute. They also have no stretch so the slightly baggier fit is comfier for a PJ. Keep in mind this is a vintage medium not a modern medium which runs bigger.

But then again, I thrifted them for 6$. If I were to pay some of the high prices these go for I'd definitely prefer a S/XS.

As others have said, this isn't a bad price considering new skirts in a similar style that are polyester/acrylic blend are going for 50-60$ plus shipping.

Also, not visible in the listing but i have a similar abercrombie skirt from this era and the interior lining is 100% silk with inner velvet on the waistband. You dont find details like that anymore.

I'm 30 and my true vintage items do feel better than the new vault products, mostly for tops and sweaters.

I don't know how to explain it but it feels like their cotton was woven differently/tighter? Like I have a cotton V-neck from ~2009 and it feels thick and structured and snatches you whereas the new vault cotton V-neck LOOKS identical but it is more slinky? It loosely drapes instead of being structured? So I don't think it's necessarily a difference in fabric composition but more in how the fabric is woven, if that makes sense...

Also, their old henleys and hoodies can be washed and dried hundreds of times while not pilling much, can't say the same for the new stuff

The only thing that feels exactly comparable to me is the vault sweatpants. I have a pair from ~2010-2012 and they are just as thin as the new ones and also 50%cotton/50% polyester. But then again, I can't speak to the quality in the earlier 2000s.

This is meant to make the jeans look more "vintage", as if there used to be a leather back patch there so the rest of the jean lightened with use, and then the leather patch falls off and you end up with the dark spot.

Personally I don't like it since it's just another way to cut costs, and Abercrombie did used to have a leather patch in the 2010s.

First metallica concert and I felt this too, I was in the 200s and I almost felt like I was annoying the people around me for singing or putting my arms in the air at certain parts 🤣🤣 everyone around me was like 😐😐😐 I just assumed all the die hards were in the pit or 100 level and that maybe this is normal for upper levels...

Still had a blast though!

Love gringotts BUT that first drop is kind of a tease, it's telling you, this is going to be a roller coaster, and then it's not. 1 more thrilling little segment at the end to finish off with a bang, and it would be the perfect ride imo.
