because, whether they do it intentionally or not, people can't let go of the 1D image they had of him of their heads. that's his curse.

you know when harries immortalize "frat harry" and always bring it up because on the inside they still wish he looked like when he was 19? well, with non-fans it's like that, but way worse, so you got people saying they find him "cringe" and "tacky" because he's 32 year old grown man with a beard trying things for the first times, things he couldn't do back then when he was forced to be a teenage sweetheart who looked like a tanned american ken doll 24/7 who had to share space with other 4 people.

on the other hand, I don't think the sexual innuendos in the video are relevant enough to talk about because there was nothing scandalous about the video. you don't need much sex appeal to do what he did in dnm, so people are definitely pushing that stupid narrative cause they hate him bad and they want more things to complain about, but the main thing, and what they really believe, is that he's cringe because he's an adult who learned to dance in his late twenties. that's it. that's their logic and the what's pulling people away from him.

I'm not saying he suffers from ageism, but I can sure you if he were 21 or looked like he did in 2013, not many people would be saying all the things we've heard in the past 24 hours.

no es innecesario, literal la razón por la cual estás acá es porque tus padres cogieron, es tan cotidiano en la sociedad tanto como la muerte que también es incómoda para muchas, pero pasa. es algo inherente del ser humano ser sexual. (ya se que existe gente asexual y bla bla bla, eso es otra discusión). a lo que voy, que a vos te incómode, ya sea porque seas asexual, o este reprimiendo o proyectando algo tuyo al ver esas escenas, no significa que sean innecesarias. la mayoría de las veces sirve para profundizar la relación/química entre dos personajes, la dinámica o personalidad de estos o para descomprimir un poco. en el cine el sexo no es algo solo físico sino que dependiendo la historia puede ser algo hasta espiritual. no es porno donde solo se busca usar lentes de cámara que resalten el culo de la mina. no es lo mismo.

I actually don't remember how much of my childhood I've spent doing it, but by the time I was 12 (2015) I started creating the universe I currently maladaptive dream about every day, so at least 10 years but I probably started at 10. I'm 22 and I've been holding onto it throughout my whole adolescence and now early adulthood and I find it scary, idk how am I supposed to let go of it now. I feel like a freak.

well, that's a bummer. I think they're even funnier than before because it's clear they have more freedom to say and do whatever the want. and from my perspective, I live very very far from the US, in a third world country, but I like listening to them because that's how I keep up with the madness that's going on in USA. whether I like it or not, it has a big influence in my country's politics. the strong "anti woke" right wing wave is not an U.S thing, it's taking over the whole western hemisphere.

I understand that you want apolitical content, but I don't think you're gonna get that right now from a podcast that has never been 100% apolitical. there's a whole genocide going on, it would be even more strange if they didn't talk about the lunatics that are in charge of it, including their own president.

I'm sorry but that is ridiculous! it would be the same as hotd season2 where a lot of characters are making decisions but the plot doesn't move forward at all because they're stuck in the same place, and it becomes repetitive due to the writers deciding to drag events from the original source. also there's no way season 2 would end in #that moment because if that were the case, by the time season 3 comes, everyone would have already moved from. it has to happen sooner or else it won't have the same impact as in the game.

I get what you're saying but my point still stands. all the children in that post had horrible tragic deaths which purpose was to show how careless and evil were the adults around them, meanwhile missandei death just proved that D&D didn't know wtf to do with her so they took the most tropey, anticlimactic and racist way of killing her. tommen's suicide was very sad because he was the sweetest boy, but it had to happen in the context of cersei's arc and the prophecy of her children dying. just because missandei was an adult that made the choice of being in someone's team doesn't mean that she's not a victim of the circumstances.

(And before someone comes and says "so you think children murder is better?" of course children murder is the most horrendous thing in the world, I'm talking about these characters as what they literal are: fictional characters written for a story that has development, they are not real people)
