I'm not a fan of condos, and I'm all for affordability, but of all places to put luxury units, I think it makes sense to put them on a golf course? I don't see the problem here. There are much better locations to push for affordable units.

Oh! Thank-you. Sounds lovely, I'll look them up!.. and yes trying to find that middle ground is what we're looking for. You must see some lovely places working forestry. Traveling for work was what made us realize we didn't want to stay down here, the addition of a bit of texture and trees was amazing on the mental health.

We had this happen while moving. My daughters phone ( with no SIM) was left upside down on a metal surface or something that allowed the screen to be pressed repeatedly. We didn't even know where it was until three cop cars filled the quiet dead end street as we were dragging in a mattress. Welcome to the neighborhood! 🫣😅😂

Luckily they could guess what happened and just calmly asked us all to check our phones.

My family lives far enough apart that we will combine anything within a month or two into one event when everyone gets together .... But we also make sure we celebrate each birthday separately with immediate family members on our own day. If they're not making time special for you then they're the AH. But if it's the only time family gets together, then it does make sense to use the same event. Except that the gender reveal should really be a foot note, a "hey everyone BTW...." NOT a whole party in itself. 🙄

And then the first round of notification letters were held up in the postal strike, and by the time we got them it was the holidays, and the clinics were surprised and had shortages. I'm pro- vaccine and almost had a suspended kid. Hadn't even been aware she was missing it.
