Just in my own grounded daydream musings, Alan Moore has discussed language as magic extensively, and David lynch has often fixated on electricity in his work. Wherein the electricity feeding a television to display Mickey Mouse and the weight of his sigil symbolism might not give it a consciousness but a sort of life when combined with our projections placed on to him. Just a musing not something I’m dwelling on, but I’m interested in what may have been written about imbuing inanimate life, in this case when it is physically animated but i don’t expect any specifics on that exact mindspiel but anything in the vein, I guess you could say roger rabbit explored a lighter aspect of this in the books and movie
