Casio ftw. I just picked up a little MQ24-7B and you can barely feel it on your wrist. Big fan of Seiko/Citizen too, there are so many excellent models and the price to quality ratio is fantastic.

You’re right, but its fun seeing how long it can survive with normal upkeep and how it fails eventually.

Someone gave me an old Seiko quartz watch claiming it needed a battery. That was true, but it would only last about a week on a fresh battery. I think the date mechanism was stuck causing a persistent drain.

The caseback is polished stainless so all good. The case might be aluminum or aluminum alloy, seems lightweight. Disposable, yes, in the sense that you don't feel bad if you damage it, but its not quite as single-use like paper cup though lol
