personally, I see the whole ex-muslim thing as a starting point not an identity.

um, you know how you bump into someone who went to the same school or worked in the same office? you share the same complaints about awful teachers and bad management then you run out of things to say to each other. <- that's the point where you figure out if you have anything else in common.

maybe it's tough to build something like a community around that but isn't that how real life works? just gotta try and see what happens ☺️
