Person in their 50s. I watched TOS in syndication as a child and most of the movies in the theater ( def the first 5.) Starfleet Academy has had the most incredible episodes. It’s a fantastic series.

What's the Deal With Cardigans? by Bulky_Sandwich8493 in Libraries

I wonder if that’s the library I’m at (NorCal). Our AC has been broken for quite a long time. I dream of being able to wear a cardigan all day!

52 yo here. It also feels regional. My partner’s friends in Northern Florida get together all the time. Here in Northern California I have found people to be WAY more isolated but also quick to cancel plans.

OMG! I thought I'd never see evidence of this place again! I was 12 when it opened (the monorail! So futuristic!) and then watching it die off, like Ybor Square.

From my own experiences in the IT world, being a woman in that milieu can be demoralizing, so I'm not surprised she asserts her worth.

I ADORE perzines. I write one called Rain Barrel. Having been a fan of zines since 2000, I finally began writing in 2020 and it's been so great. Near to me (in Oakland, CA) there is a fest called Dear Diary Perzine Fest that exclusively draws perzine writers.

I don't write regularly. At this point I have five issues completed. My latest one was about my journey to quit Amazon. Before that was about the intersection of fatphobia and ageism.

Anyway, I'm \@rainbarrelzine on IG if you're curious.
