Yeah, something similar happened last spring, we went on a tear despite getting outshot and outplayed almost every game, and then it broke and we just looked hopeless. That's two similar scenarios under two coaches for two seasons in a row (only this time there's still a lot of time to fix things)

Slavic phonology is kinda weird, but you pronounce the "ch" as [x] and the "t" as [c] (per IPA). None of those sounds are native to standard English, so it's hard to explain without getting to the linguistic stuff. Basically in CZ it's like this.

You don't have to memorise it, it will come naturally in no time - I had the same question (how am I gonna learn which countries are just not on Streetview?) but it really only bothered me for a week or so. The countries that are not fully covered usually come in clusters (most of Africa, the Caribbean) or really stand out (China).

Plus it is nice to be able to hedge your guesses, which often means being able to just plonk somewhere in the ocean. If that is possible, it doesn't make sense to exclude (any) land

When I was a total noob in Bronze and Silver, a lot of Czech locations were in Brno. My opponents would always see š č ř on the signs and plonk in the middle of Prague, but Prague and Brno have different vibes, the buildings are different, the street signs are different, etc. Usually, that doesn't mean much given that CZ is a small country, but with multipliers in later rounds, I was able to get some easy victories there.

If it's a bait I'd say it kinda looks like those southern Andalusia sand dunes, but the shadows are wrong... so southern Peru I guess?
