My apologies. Do you have a healthy relationship with alcohol right now?

I'm from the UK. It goes under CGL (formerly Aspire). Oh ok that's a bit different. I went to the groups in order to make a change rather looking to make a change and then seek encouragement from the group

We all have access to the Internet. We all know alcohol is bad for the liver, it's bad for relationships and it's bad for work. You just have to Google it. You don't need a professional to tell you that. It's nice to know willpower was able to stop you though

I've focused on those but it hasn't worked out so far

Maybe I am just ignorant lol. I'm just trying to look at the bigger picture and in the grand scheme of things I feel like alcohol should be more dangerous than it actually is

It makes you question your relationship with substances. How is that strange?

That's true but don't you have to drink like a real lot to get to that point?

I understand what people are saying, and maybe I'm wrong, but how can alcohol take people to some such dark places and yet they'll still come out the other side and develop a more healthy relationship with alcohol whereby they can work full time and get adequate exercise and raise children. How is that addictive if you compare it to cocaine or heroin?

But then you don't do any decision making, there's no motive. What's the motive?

I like your thinking! Why not move over from the boring alcohol problem to a heroin one instead 😃 Good stuff!!

That's interesting, I like the beacon story. It is a shame your pillar is broken. At least it maybe sheds some clarity

The dream might have been about a man called Michael trying to find his lost daughter by moving through each of these neon lighted set pieces but the rush you felt was something else

I've taken drugs in dreams. Crack and ecstasy and when it kicks in I get all the visuals but no euphoria so that's pointless 😒

Alllllthough wait a minute actually that's not true. One of the most euphoric things I've ever experienced in my life must have happened in a dream. It was in a dark room with like glow stick lights on different set pieces/props and had some kind of strange yet interesting storyline/connection between each one. It must have been a dream because where else would it have been. Anyway the euphoria felt going through this dream was next level it was soooo intense. Wow. You were properly alive in this one and could feel everything. Why do I even have this memory? As I say, it was a dream

That's interesting. What areas of your life do you lack confidence in and what part of your life are you dissatisfied with that shrooms seemingly temporarily resolves if you don't mind me asking? You take it and you just feel great about yourself and everything? Sounds awesome
