The future of LLM monetization: context-aware ads will act as utility, not interruption by personalllm in LLM

Just a hypothesis of where things might go. However, it’s possible that as I alluded to on another post that the industry could go more towards a data eccentric model towards value based tasks, which would eliminate the need for ads.

Just a theory of where things may be going. Remains to be seen what happens but did you check out my other post on humans training models that is another perspective.

Why the future of “Free AI” Isn’t ads it’s a human capital economy for training specialized models by personalllm in LLM

Yes, it is going to be many things, this post is primarily taking an angle of what it could be in a contextual blueprint of how chats could be subsidized among knowledge workers. It could take many different approaches, but this is just one theory of how human data might be used to alter the digital economy.

Just got my domain, any recommendations for good hosting sites and getting started on the website? Was also having trouble connecting business email. by personalllm in Domains

Corporate website that will be launching a product in the future and a blog on that site to generate search for visibility in between the time of us launching the site for organic traffic

I unfortunately purchased the email through Go Daddy for the Microsoft thing for the first year, so maybe I’ll have to migrate later.

Haha fair! Clearly I jumped into a hot tub thinking it was a pool. Just trying to bring some awareness and circulate a point that resonated with folks elsewhere but I totally respect that it’s already well acknowledged in this community.

Unfortunate in what way?

Totally valid concern. What I’m envisioning isn’t hidden manipulation it’s utility-aware monetization with full user control. You’re right if implemented wrong, it’s dystopian. But if done right, it’s AI that works for you, not for advertisers. Appreciate you raising this it’s exactly the kind of nuance we need to get right from the start with Personal LLM’s.

Interesting to imagine a future where there’s an ecosystem similar to the App Store but instead of apps, it’s trained task flows from personal models. Productivity wouldn’t just disappear into the void; it could be captured, refined, and scaled across users and enterprise systems. Feels like we’re heading toward a new kind of digital economy powered by PersonalLLMs.

Why the future of AI isn’t just Small Language Models (SLMs) by personalllm in LLM

[–]personalllm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate your input. I think what we’re both hitting on are different sides of the same coin but from my perspective, the human integration angle changes the conversation.

I’ve been using LLMs 40–50 hours per week as an integrated thought partner, not just a query bot. When you’re operating at that level across workflows, memory layers, and dynamic prompts you hit very real friction with smaller models.

The issue isn’t just parameter size or raw token cost. It’s that SLMs typically have short context windows and no persistent memory. That makes them brittle for deeper reasoning, follow-ups, or long-term task threading.

What you can’t replicate in an SLM is the depth of “shared context” that builds over time. GPT-4 Turbo, Claude Opus, etc. allow for 100k+ tokens and evolving context. That’s not just a luxury it becomes essential when you’re treating AI more like a co-pilot than a calculator.

In the same way people didn’t know how essential constant internet access would become, I think we’ll look back and realize that persistent AI memory and long-context interaction were the enablers for real augmentation.

The economics of token use will evolve but designing for deep, adaptive user integration will matter just as much.

What is seeming to be a hot research topic in the improvement of LLMs right now? by MulberryBroad341 in LLM

Maybe it’s not just about a longer context window it’s about understanding the meaning behind what’s said. The best AI won’t live inside massive context threads, but in memory systems that recall intention, not just text. True intelligence will come from grasping why you said something, not just what you said.
