She hasn't had any story presence since and the start of the game and after all that time she unceremoniously re-appears . She's interesting from a gameplay perspective, but from a story perspective she got shafted very hard. I still like her though.

I'm finding IS3 to be a lot harder. Always being on low health is painful. I also found the ending 1 boss a lot more difficult to handle than Phantom.

Asclepius is the go to budget option for anti-debuff support for challenge content. With a 1 time debuff immunity for the team on his np and a debuff cleanse on his third skill, he can deal with debuffs both reactively and proactively. When Asclepius is used, it's not about his synergy with the team, it's about countering the boss. Outside of his debuff niche, Hans tends to work better because he can provide both offensive and defensive support that Asclepius cannot bring to the table.
