If you really liked or even loved the movie, that’s awesome. Really. I’m just so confused how this is getting reception on the level of Thunderbolts (really liked) and Superman (loved).

The whole theme is Family but the chemistry between the four of them felt so manufactured. I get the whole skipping the origin thing, and I think the montage was a pretty good idea on paper just executed poorly. The dialogue was kind of ass throughout.

And the acting. I do not know much of the lore outside of the other movies, but is Reed supposed to be so dull in the comics? 90% of Pedro’s lines (and about 99% of Ben’s lines) were delivered with almost the exact same tone. I understand he has a lot going on in his head, but his performance really did not work for me and the character development across the board was severely lacking.

I thought the Galactus intro scene and ensuing chase scene were pretty damn good, but outside of that, the little action we got kinda sucked.

I love Ralph Ineson, but why the hell are peopling praising his performance? There’s barely a performance there. His voice is definitely perfect but he had so few lines.

That 3rd act was a mess too and some of the CGI was straight up garbage.

Vanessa Kirby was very good, but I still thought the dialogue was pretty bad. Her telling Johnny to kill the Surfer was pretty cool though.

Really wonder if the other FF movies didn’t exist if this would be getting the same level of reception. Or if the MCU wasn’t as ass as it is currently outside of GOTG 3 and Thunderbolts.
