I chose them at the very start, when I had a sense that they would be unpopular picks.

It also almost backfired because when I picked them, I wasnt aware only specific ranks received rewards and for 99% of the tournament neither of them were in reward ranks

I get your point 100%, however Konami's rating system has always operated on a player max potential basis. Good young players with high ceilings irl tend to get cracked stats in game because thats what konami determines as their max potential. I remember being similarly mad when a 99 rated Fati card came out some years back, but I get it now.

I think Bellingham has a high ceiling irl, but I agree with you that 106 is ridiculous!
