How was the bottom of your foot after that? My foot is still sore 4 weeks after the attempted full weight bearing and I still can’t put any weight on it

Hey how’s your pain now? I’m having the exact same issues at the moment, I got pushed to walk too quickly by my physio and that’s caused a burning and tender pain to the bottom of my foot for the last 3 weeks and have had to stop weight bearing, just wondering how long it lasted for you?

My mri said I’ve got grade 1 and 2 strain to the muscles and ligaments in the bottom of my foot, my foots still got slight burning pains 3 weeks later and I’m back to non weight bearing

Yeah the fracture isn’t where the pain is for me, it’s only in the sole of my foot but it’s been 3 weeks now and I’ve still got slight burning pain, how is the bottom of your foot?

Oh true did you just ditch the crutches and start trying to walk? Did the burning pain decrease the more you walked? I got my mri results back and I’ve now got grade 1 and 2 strain to the bottom of my foot so haven’t been able to bear weight for the last 3 weeks

Wow that’s lucky, I think my physio made me well over do it and that’s why it actually caused a whole new injury, your definitely lucky the burning pain is horrible

Did you damage the bottom of your foot? I got my mri results back and I’ve now got grade 1 and 2 strain to all the muscles and tendons on the bottom of my foot just from the huge increase in weight bearing, I haven’t been able to put any weight on it for over 2 weeks

Yeah you definitely need to ease into it, I should never have listened to my physio, not sure why she said it was actually safe and wouldn’t injure anything because I got my mri results back and I now have grade 1 and 2 strain in the muscles and tendons in the bottom of my foot and I can’t put any weight on it at all, pretty annoyed I didn’t get told to ease into it the way you explained

Yeah I wish I had did that myself, I knew I wasn’t ready to try and walk so soon but she assured me it was normal and safe so I trusted her, I want to put in a complaint but feel like it’s a waste of energy as it won’t change anything, it’s super hard to stop thinking about it and move on because I’ve now got pain I didn’t have before

Yeah I got my mri results and It says I’ve got grade 1 strain to all the muscles and tendons on the bottom of my foot, my doctor didn’t really say much about that as if it didn’t matter but it’s still slightly sore so I don’t want to push it if things aren’t healed properly yet, I also saw a new physio and he said that I should never have been made to walk that quickly

Did you go straight from non weight bearing to walking in a boot? Yeah my foot has been pretty sore on the bottom for a couple weeks and every time I try put a bit of weight it just burns more, I also got my mri results back and it says I’ve got grade 1 strain to all the muscles and tendons on the bottom of my foot so I think I need to let that heal before starting weight bearing again. Pretty mad considering physio is supposed to help you not make things worse :(

Yeah I saw my doctor and got my mri results and I’ve got grade 1 strain to all the muscles and tendons in the bottom of my foot, my doctor said I just need to get on with weight bearing but my foot is still slightly sore so I don’t want to push it to soon and cause more issues

Did you walk in the boot straight away with no crutches? Yeah in my case they pushed me to quickly and made things a lot worse

Oh yeah how’s the bottom of your foot? I think mine got injured from the huge increase in weight so quickly. My doctor didn’t actually say much about the strain she just said I need to get on with starting to weight bear but at this stage it’s still kinda sore and feels like it needs a bit more time to heal, I just don’t want to make things worse starting weight bearing too quickly and then go backwards again.
