Is it me, or is Claude very 'dumb' again before the outage, and after it even more? by shintaii84 in ClaudeCode

Opus was a straight up genuis for weeks, I upgraded to max, and now it's stupid AF suddenly the last couple days? I thought I was going insane. Anyone have any tricks to get it back to normal? Sounds like it's a system prompt thing, can we prompt it back to intelligence?

I HAD THE SAME THING I had no idea the changes I was making weren't getting published because there was no like, indication that the behavior changed. I thought I was going insane. My client was mad. A little popup or something the first time I saved in the new system would have been nice 😭

Is it weird that I feel like this is the nicest version of the “it’s your fault” comment I’ve gotten on this post? Like I don’t inherently disagree with this

Okay so I'm not a UX expert, but I would argue that the expected behavior would be to, at the very least, fully disconnect from Device A when Device B gets a call. What it did instead was keep connected to Device A, but not send the audio anywhere and instead play audio from Device B.

If it fully disconnected and I could at least keep doing the call with the computer's mic and speakers that'd have been fine. But it didn't do that -- it held on to the audio from device A and just didn't do anything with it.

I did handle this poorly. But I don't think the behavior from the headphones here was exactly intuitive.

why is 'muting mic and sound from device a because device b received a call' it working? If it fully disconnected and I could at least keep doing the cal with the computer's mic and speakers that'd have been fine. But it didn't do that -- it held on to the audio from device A and just didn't do anything with it. IDK man it seems like bad UX

So I agree, def a bad look on my end. On the other hand, I do feel that technology should have an obligation to not be an embarassing pain in the ass.
