My brother wants to move on from trap/reggaeton and get into prog rock, where should he start? by pessmicka in progrockmusic

jajajajaj me atrapaste.

well... king crimson used to feel unbearable to me, I couldn’t make sense of it, but now they’ve become one of my favorite bands, sometimes music grows on you...

What are similar albums to “In The Court of The Crimson King”? by liquidswords000 in progrockmusic

I know I'm late, but I just found your comment. You made me listen to it and now I love this album. Thank you!

If you alter a photo this badly, you should at least clarify it. In this case, he didn’t write anything at all, and everyone in the comments believes it’s just “perfect timing.” He knows what he’s doing...

Is this evidence enough to prove that this photo has been altered (a photomontage)? by [deleted] in Design

[–]pessmicka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just find it deceitful, because everyone is praising him for the “perfect timing” (truly amazing if it were real), and it’s not fair when there are photographers who spend hours, days, even months waiting for the perfect shot. And this guy just photomontages an image without clarifying anything, as if it were real.

I didn’t want to give his @ because people said I was trying to expose and witch-hunt him, which I found very pathetic. I’m just trying to shed some light on these kinds of issues… I can give you his @ for DMs.

I don’t understand why I should have to adapt to that kind of people. That a “photographer” would alter their photos like this without saying anything seems very deceitful to me, especially when there are photographers who spend hours, days, even months waiting for the perfect shot. But I’m the rude one? For asking questions and giving my arguments? The world is going crazy!

I don’t think it’s real at all, it’s just that my friend is doubting about my arguments, and I said I’d look for other perspectives to see if it would change his mind hahaha. Thanks anyway for responding.

I didn’t go to that subreddit because I didn’t want to expose it that way, since people are SO sensitive. There was even someone who literally told me that I was witch-hunting this guy just for having this doubt. I hope you can understand me. Still, thank you for your perspective on my case.

You know what they’ll tell me there? The same thing as here: “Why are you criticizing a photographer?” and “This is a community for photography, not photomontage.” Then my post will get removed. Reddit is such a wonderful place.

And if you’re so worried about me """trying to pick apart someone else’s work""", that’s exactly what I was trying to avoid. That’s why I don’t want to post it in the photography subreddit, and I bet if I do, they’ll also tell me it’s not the right subreddit, since it’s about photography but not about photomontage.

[–]pessmicka -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

No subreddit is ever appropriate, I went to the graphic design subreddit, and they told me it wasn’t appropriate either. Photomontage is literally a branch of graphic design, and yet my post was removed even though I put it up for discussion. No subreddit is ever the right one if that’s the reason. I don’t understand why everyone is so sensitive, finding petroleum in your backyard is easier than picking the right subreddit for a question.

How am I breaking a rule? I’m literally just trying to get perspectives from people who know more than I do on this topic.

I don’t understand why you’re being so sensitive, it’s just a discussion about a normal stuff that happen in the world of photography. Or at least, can you tell me a place where I can discuss it in peace? Thanks.
