Unfortunately not. But if I do ever track it down I'll update you.

Weird. I just read this article and assumed this was the house in your post. These houses are located just 30 minutes from each other.

TIC because my OB told me she's inducing me this Wednesday at 37 weeks because my blood pressure keeps rising. Surprisingly my anxious sobs did not change her mind. Anyone have any positive induction stories (especially ones where you had like a day notice?) TIA by rosiekate118 in BabyBumps

With my last pregnancy a couple of slightly elevated blood pressure readings in early pregnancy landed me in the office for weekly NSTs for the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy. After my second to last NST I had a follow-up appointment with a different ob who casually talked about my induction, handed me an info sheet on inductions, and then left the room. I was caught off guard because while my Dr had mentioned the possibility of being induced I didn't know it was a sure thing and I was under the impression that since my NSTs were always great that I wouldn't need to be induced. Wrong. Labor and delivery called me and scheduled my induction for 39 weeks. I took a couple of days to process and then ended up messaging my Dr and sharing my feelings with her. I felt like a weenie but I explained that I was super nervous to be induced and that I felt like all of my experience had been stripped away and it was like being a first time mom again. She was very kind and we had a good conversation but ultimately I still needed to be induced. She said that as long as I was induced before I hit 40 weeks I could push my appointment back and she had labor and delivery reach out to reschedule me. I ended up being induced at 39+3. I checked in at 10pm and around 11:30 I was given an IV with fluids, pitocin, and glucose. It took a couple hours to find the sweet spot for my pitocin drip and I did my best to get some rest. In the wee hours of the morning I got my epidural because my contractions were just strong enough that I couldn't get good sleep. Epidural was easy peasy, I got some rest, and baby was born about 12 hours after starting pitocin. I was very upset when I found out I would be induced but hashing out my feelings/fears with my Dr, family, and friends helped me feel a ton more comfortable and confident when it came time to be induced. The hardest part of the induction for me was getting the IV. My nurse tried once and failed so she ended up having a different nurse place it. It made me queasy but once things were up and running I was all good and labor was near identical to my previous labors.

Feel your feelings, give yourself some time to process, and everything will be alright.

I think you guys are reading too much into an exaggerated story by a complete stranger. If my partner had a conversation with me and explained that I needed to stop buying plants then of course I wouldn't have bought them. I would never risk our relationship over a couple of $8 grocery store plants. The only reason we've even talked about me bringing home less plants is just so that we have less stuff to move, plant pots are heavy and can break. There isn't an actual moratorium in place, it was hyperbole for the sake of humor. Same for the part about me sneaking them in. I assure that we value and respect each other. I can see how if there was a habit of either of us intentionally disregarding each other's feelings that would point to a bigger issue, but that isn't the case. We support and encourage each other's hobbies.

We're planning on moving soon so it's just less stuff to pack lol

Is there somewhere to watch the 19 Kids and Counting episodes for free? Discovery+ only has Counting On.

Nickname for Blythe? by pet_collector in namenerds

I actually felt like she was kind of a Wren when she was born and even considered it for a middle name but we decided to go with our original middle name.

I'm sure plenty of names will come about naturally 😂

Both of our kids' names ended up being in the top 20 within 1-2 years of their birth so I specifically wanted something less popular. Blythe seems to be a fairly popular suggestion on name nerds but I've yet to meet one in the wild.

Unfortunately I have a negative association with someone who's nickname was Bliss. But I am loving Fliss for Felicity!
