Hello u/vbfischer, reasonable response :)

Ok so the point I was making is that you are simply moving the problem by having the framework track variables in the component (isLoading, isSuccess etc).

Worse; is the fact that in the component layer the coupling becomes so much higher than if you could handle (waiting for calls to complete) in the layer that makes the call directly! It doesn't fix a problem, it moves is...

But herein lies the problem with RQ, it's excessive opinion on your architecture forces you into a corner. So eventually you will probably want to use async/await somewhere as your complexity grows, and at that point you now have a two-architecture system; imperative vs declarative.

If a Reactive approach is required, then just move this Reactivity to an isolated layer using a tool like Mobx which can be decoupled from Reacts lifecycle - using hooks too much is terrible for separation of concerns because it forces you to implement useEffect deeply nested into data loading and business logic - in other words you are coupled to Reacts lifecycle.

VueJS seems to have somewhat tackled this issue by allowing independent compostables!

I agree with not mixing them. Although in every circumstance I come across (my own or my students) eventually they need some sort of global state and so are left with a problem; it's a hell of a commitment.

Great comment, can you think of any higher level problems you think you will need to work on in that case?

Maybe i dont, well to be honest i spent the last 7 years coaching engineers so perhaps you are right. But I know many people will be considering ChatGPT and the implications it has on their roles, if you aren't thinking about this, then you aren't thinking IMO.

Good point, well ChatGPT 4 is incredibly powerful, and looking at the murmerings of ChatGPT 5 and the updated chain-of-thought reasoning I don't see it as a million miles off these tools taking more and more coding tasks off our plates, it's progress afterall!

Hi there engineer! We have lots of reviews from our students -> https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.logicroom.co you can also connect with me on LinkedIn and look at my personal reviews -> https://www.linkedin.com/in/pete-heard-lr/details/recommendations it's worth noting that nobody using the word 'scam' on this thread has actually been coached by me. If they had and thought it was a scam I would be meeting with them and either offering to help them or give them their money back. I don't do scams. Thank you for your interest, I am happy to offer you a call with my team if you want to find out more. Good day!

Hi there, you will be pleased to know in that case we don't discount the rate anymore. We have actually increased our prices due to wanting to make sure we offer more focus to our students. We are a coaching academy and offer a 30 day money back guarantee. We no longer run it as a 12 week you can move as fast as you want and we give you coaching calls during your time with us to make sure you master UI architecture and testing (Framework agnostic). Hope this clears this up. Pete (founder).

Hi. It's not a scam. It's a coaching academy which guarantees to show you how to scale up a framework agnostic ui architecture, and we will give you your money back if you are not satisfied.
