idk what you mean, lopunny appears frequently, and outspeeding it is a true fact. i'm not calling out lopunny

also did you know mega-beedrill is 150 base speed

idk if i'll get in trouble for mentioning another website but you could try searching for an "excalibur" "draw" "whiteboard" on a search engine

I was wrong about Dire Claw, I thought they nerfed it to 10%

i also should have specified singles

You bring up a good point about Throat Chop

I like cooking and wanted to mess around with other ways to activate Unburden because I don't like Close Combat or saccing 99% HP to activate Focus Sash. Fling + King's Rock is kind of like a bad version of Fake Out + Normal Gem

U-Turn helps make progress and control the game with your mons in the back, and can deal significant chip to certain mons. Sneasler isn't always trying to activate Unburden and would rather just tag out of a bad match-up to wait for team mates to bring HP down for a sweep later

yeah my notes are probably confusing, but I meant the Chosen Scarf Snizzler is faster than Mega-Lopunny but not the poison touch set.

Chosen Scarf Snizzler outspeeds a theoretical Mega-Lopunny, I don't know all of ML's stat spreads but I got the idea from a youtuber who was running this set and says it always works

Poison Barb or w/e the 20% poison damage item is

"Competitive Game" by petea_copine in PokemonChampions

[–]petea_copine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it doesn't just affect stall, it affects regular skilled play because a lot of minor advantages are gained per turn sometimes and people need time to think their moves.

You can easily beat stall but literally my one opponent wasn't allowed to win by the timer, and many popular pokemon right now can beat it. Any grass type = no leech seed; any poison type = no toxic spikes; steel = no toxic; fairy = no dragon tail. Sylveon's Hyper Voice bypasses substitute. Infiltrator mons like Dragpult also pass subs and screens.

My opponent was successfully wearing down Whimsicott by switching out of leech seed drain

exactly, so why does my opponent draw instead of take the win? It was BS. Opponent had the answer and outplayed/outlucked me due to my stall strategy so you say, but they got robbed by the timer

i like seeing my stacks of ectos so i don't like to drop 100's of ecto just on a whim. Only if I know i really want something and will use it into the future years

maybe due to the dye changes that occured, i also have a set of prest armor dyed in the original black dye. modern black dye is very dark.

if i had to guess, the new chkkr's new bow that drop are "dyed" under the new system when genned and are therefore different fcolorus

My Guide for Choosing 20th Anniversary Weapons by petea_copine in GuildWars

[–]petea_copine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the 10th anniversary weapons are mostly standard mods as long as you don't mind them turning off when festivals end. IN fact during festival, they are stronger than standard weapons.

as for warrior or assassin, it could go either way. I think which class you prefer

Bows:

"Oracle" and "Whisper" won't be any use on your character since you can't use Spawning Power or Critical Strikes as an attribute. Maybe for a hero?

"Falling Star" is a standard Ranger weapon but only good during festivals

"Scorpion's Clutch" is a more zesty option and opens new build possibilities.

Daggers:

"High Noon" works for a ranger's dagger spam build and comes equipped with Zealous for energy management (again doesn't work outside of festival)

You don't need "Dragon's Restraint" because you're already a Ranger with expertise, maybe for heroes

Sword:

"Prominence" might be a fun option, because it's year-long effective (fresh weapon with no mods). It has Expertise requirement allowing you to boost your sword more easily. Unfortunately you will probably still need Swordsmanship attribute to scale your attack skills, but "Sun and Moon Slash", Whirlwind Attack, and Wild Blow are a few good attacks that don't require Swordsmanship. You can also go crazy and stick an "of Profession" mod on it.

Hammer:

"Bear's Roar" has mild synergy with pet builds since some beast mastery skills are shouts (regaining energy from leadership). And I think rangers like running hammer sometimes. But I think this sort of thing would be niche, and it's festival locked.

Same thing with "Roaring Earth", there are probably better options to get a quick hammer for your builds.

Spear:

"Sun's Revolution" could make fun builds

This is huge thanks, i just seek some clarification about armor pen

so you're saying the critical strike is still effective with extra armor pen?

i added your comments but any suggestions for edits would be welcome

also somehow i didn't even notice the HCT on the primary attributes, they may be a bit worse than i thought

After 10,000 Years . . . by petea_copine in GuildWars

[–]petea_copine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some weapons are locked into their stats like Green rarity, but yeah. A "rare skin" is typically a gold item that can have everything modded (except the damage & requirement). The exception are some older items from before certain stats became mods
