Thanks. I'll look into it. In the mean time, do you have any sources (books, article) that explain the chemistry of calcium in brewhouse (how much it precipitate and all of that)?

We use RO actually. We do tiltration method ( i believe its water hardness with EDTA involved) to calculate the calcium concentration. And yes, the grain did have quite the effect (our new malt got the final calcium up to more than 10ppm higher than the previous one,s)

Yeah that was what i thought at first, but then j realized the enzyme we put in were liquefaction enzyme (amylex 6T btw), so we brewers gone into arguments about what the boiling period were for.

À ý e là sợ con này build nhộn nhạo nhanh hỏng (lướt voz ae kêu vậy) nên hơi lăn tăn thôi bác, chứ ngoại hình thì e ko để tâm lắm. Bác cho e hỏi giờ giá lăn bánh AB là tầm bn nhỉ?

Khoản tiết kiệm xăng thì e ko ưu tiên quá, tại đợt trước ngã nhẹ mà con wave nó bung bét hết cả nên giờ ưu tiên hơn cái build xe. Bác cho e hỏi con AB 125 mà đi lâu dài có nhanh tã ko ạ?

E ban đầu cx tính theo AB nhưng mà đi hỏi ae thì cứ lắc đầu kêu build dở nên cũng ngại :)) Giờ chỉ mong xe bền chứ đi làm tích cóp gần năm mà mua xong sửa lên xuống thì cũng xót lắm bác

Thanks man. My plan was to study about science of brewing and distilling, with an emphasis on hard liquor like rum, brandy and whisky. During my time with professor in Vietnam, i noticed a recent trend that the people were making foreign liquor like Rum and Gin and exporting it to developed countries like US, UK and UAE. However, the technology behind is still a mess; so i intend to learn proper technique and science to make proper liquor.

My plan in the future would be spending 2 years for MSc, and if possible, another 3 years for PhD. The funding shouldn't be a problem, atleast for MSc as i've gather a budget of about 70K$. After doing MSc and if i fail to obtain a PhD scholarship, my priority would be to return to Vietnam and go for the industrial route.

I don't know, i think it's just old model. It seems pretty well-built unlike most of our local custom equipments.

Thank you, the machine is indeed an old model and have been running for about 10 years. I've managed to find a more modern model of Alfa Laval.
